2016 UK elections

In 2016 there were be a number of elections in the United Kingdom.

Votes took place in the devolved nations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; for the London Assembly and Mayor of London; for Police and Crime Commissioners across England and Wales; and various mayoral and local government elections in parts of England.

Welsh Assembly

60 Assembly Members were elected by the Additional Member System from 40 constituencies and 5 regions.

Police and Crime Commissioners

41 Police and Crime Commissioners were elected by the supplementary vote from each police force area in England and Wales.

English local government

126 councils were elected in parts of England, as well as mayors in Bristol, Liverpool and Salford.
